Quilt square #46 is from Crofton, Maryland. It is the Great State of Texas. We are not Native Texans, but before we moved here we had friends tell us that once we had lived in Texas we would fall in love with Texas and wish that we had always lived there. I have to say we love Texas and will most likely retire here in Texas when Troy retires from the Army. Anyway back to the wish which has a Chine Proverb on it.

If there is light in the soul, there will be beauty in the person.

If there is beauty in the person, there will be harmony in the house.

If there is harmony in the house, there will be order in the nation.

If there is order in the nation, there will be peace in the world.

Quilt square #43 is from Louisville, Kentucky. It is a beautiful sage green floral. It says, "To the world you may be one person, But to one person you may be the world." -Bill Wilson Quilt square #44 is from Newaygo, MI. It is a cute bedtime Snoopy print. It states, "My wish for you is a lifetime of laughter." Thank you so much for the fabric and wishes!

Quilt square #41 comes from a family in Austin, Texas. It is a pink fabric (love pink) with little purple hearts. It says, "Our wish for you, sweet one, is that you live your life with an open heart". Quilt square #42 comes all the way from Castlegar, British Columbia. Canada. It is a cute pink gingham with embroidered ladybugs (yeah more pink!). It says, "May you always know that your beauty fills our world with hope and joy." Thanks for the great wishes and PINK fabric!

Quilt square #39 is from Lewisville, Texas. It is a red fabric with cute little yellow birds on it. It says, " Our wish for you, little darling... May you always feel safe and secure." Quilt square #40 is from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The fabric is "Monet like" and looks like a beautiful field of green and purple flowers. It says, "Wishing you a life of dreams come true." Thank you for the beautiful wishes and fabric squares.

Quilt square #37 come from Baltimore, Maryland. It is a soft pink fabric with pastel butterflies on it. Very cute! It says, "We wish for you a life of laughter and gobs of giggles." Quilt square #38 comes from Chandler, AZ. It is a cute green fabric with little purple butterflies. It says, "Little One- Our wish for you is: ...To love without fear, ...To give without regret, ...To pray without doubt, ...To worship without limit, ...To know how precious you are to HIM who created you. You are a blessing to all who know and love you!" Thank you for the wishes and fabrics, love them!

Quilt square #35 comes from a family in Parker, Colorado. It is a beautiful floral with my favorite colors, red, green and yellow. The wish is beautiful and says, "Our wish for you is grace, wisdom, strength, courage, confidence, peace, happiness, and most of all Love." Quilt square #36 is from a family in Indianapolis, Indiana. It is a bright yellow fabric with stars! The wish says, "Twinkle Twinkle tiny light, Little eyes that shine so bright. A precious baby from heaven above, Fill our hearts with so much Love." thanks for the precious wishes and fabrics!

Quilt square #33 comes all the way from Barrie, Ontario. It is a soft pink fabric with fun butterflies and dragonflies. It says, "love your life." Quilt square #34 is from Grand Rapids, Michigan. It is a bright striped fabric, cute! It says, "A wish for you, that you grow up with a love and respect for the culture of your birth. Thanks for the great squares and wishes!

Quilt square #31 comes from a family in Billings, Montana. It is a white fabric with Chinese characters on it, very neat. It states, "Our wish for you: Comfort on difficult days, Smiles when sadness intrudes, Laughter to kiss your lips, Hugs when your spirit sags, Faith so you can believe, Courage to know yourself, and Love to complete your life." Just beautiful. Wish #32 comes from Dayton, Ohio. It is a bright pink with softer pink swirls, too cute! It says, "I wish for you a lifetime of happy adventures!" Thank you so much for these beautiful wishes and fabric squares!

Quilt square #29 come s all the way from Portland, Oregon. It is a beautiful blue fabric with vibrant butterflies and ladybugs! The wish states, " Dance like nobody's watching and love like it's never going to hurt." Quilt square #30 comes from Indianapolis, Indiana. It is a black fabric with Chinese characters in it. Very unique! The wish states, "May your days be filled with unlimited happiness, unconditional love, and immeasurable blessings." Thank you for the beautiful fabrics and wishes!

#26, #27 and #28

Quilt square #26 comes from Stateline, Nevada. The wish is on a beautiful picture Lake Tahoe (if the sender took this picture, it is gorgeous!) and it states, "May you always know the beauty of the mountains, lakes and streams. Have wagons of wishes filled with dreams and see life through the eyes of a child." The fabric matches the picture and is a beautiful blue.

Quilt square #27 is from O'Fallon, IL. It is a cute pink fabric with colorful animals on it. The wish states, "May your life always be in a bright spot in everyone's heart that you touch."

Quilt square #28 is from Smithfield, Utah. It is a cute blue fabric with ladybugs and daisies on it. The wish states, " We wish that this child may be welcomed by many, loved by many, and known by a myriad of private and gentle names."

Quilt square # 24 is from Olympia, Washington. It is a beautiful red floral fabric with hummingbirds and butterflies. The wish states, "Many wishes for knowing the love of your family and living a blessed life." It also includes a poem titled:

Quilt square #25 came from Tomball, Texas! It is a beautiful fabric with fans on it! The wish states, "Our wish for you, may fun and discovery, and dreams coming true be some of the treasures just waiting for you. May love be the sweetest part of each precious memory you'll keep in your heart! We have met this special family and look forward to getting to know each other better!

Quilt square #22 comes from Springfield, Missouri. It is a soft green with butterflies and flowers. Very cute. The wish states, " Our wish for you is a lifetime filled with the knowledge that you are loved."

Quilt square #23 is from Sugarland, Texas! It is the patriotic fabric. Love that!the wish states, "For I know the plans I have for you, " declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." -Jeremiah 29:11

We have met the family in Sugarland and they are a very special family. Thank you for the great squares and beautiful wishes!

#20 and #21

Quilt square #20 comes from Somerset, Kentucky. It is a blue fabric with children of the world on it. The wish states, " My prayer for you is hope, peace, and happiness through Him who gave you life!"

Quilt square #21 arrived in the mail to our house on September 11, 2006. It is very symbolic because on that day we had three ladybug sightings (a sign of good luck in the Chinese adoption community). First was a ladybug on the boys books that I was putting away, the second was a big huge ladybug sticker on a red Volkswagen beetle and then the ladybugs on this quilt square. Later that day we found out that we had been matched with Fu Bao Ying. The wish states that, "We witness a miracle everytime a child enters into life. But those who make their journey home across time and miles, growing within the hearts of those who wait to love them, are carried on the wings of destiny and placed among us by God's very own hands." -Kristi Larson

Fu Bao Ying was carried by destiny that day and matched with her forever family.

Quilt square #18 comes all the way from Canada. It is a cute purple fabric with turtles on it. The wish states, "One Perfect Baby two little feet, so tender and sweet. Quilt square #19 comes from Phoenix, Arizona. It is an adorable aqua colored fabric with sheep, numbers and flowers in it. The wish states, "We wish you a life full of love and includes one of the family's favorite bedtime songs.
