100 Good Wishes

#78


Quilt square #78 is from my Uncle Tom and his family. Their wish is, "May all your happy dreams come true." The fabric is a colorful flannel. It is from a size4 flannel shirt that my Uncle Tom wore when he was a little boy. My Grandmother passed the shirt onto Tom and Pam when their little boy Josh was little and he wore it, now it will be part of Gracie Mae's quilt! Thank you so much Tom and Pam and kids!! We love you and miss you very much!

#76 and #77


Quilt square #76 and #77 are from my Grandfather, Gracie Mae's Great Grandfather. His wish says, "Welcome to the family." The fabric is from a tie of his and the other is from one of his pillow cases. I miss you and love you very much Grandpa! Thanks for the wish and quilt squares! Gracie Mae will love them as much as I do!

Quilt square #75 is from some dear friends. Their wish states, "By the time you read this message, you will be old enough to know that you are part of one of the most loving and caring families a child could have. I am sure that they have kept their watchful eyes over you and given you every opportunity to experience the world around you, with all the beauty that it holds. Our family wishes that you enjoy a long and wondrous life filled with happiness and joy. This flag is given to you as a reminder of all those things that our country stands for. We hope that, in making your journey to the United States and becoming one of it's citizens, you are able to experience all the tremendous opportunities, equality, and fortunes that make this country so great." Quilt square #74 is from Uncle Trent and Aunt Laura, it reads, "Dearest darling Gracie, Aloha and welcome! We are so thrilled to have you join our family. We welcome you with open arms and warm hearts. We love you." The fabric is pink with white orchids. Just beautiful! Thank you Trent and Laura, we love you and miss you both very much!

Quilt square # 73 is also from our niece and nephew Jade and Cole. Their wish says, "Gracie, We can't wait to "Sea" you and "horse" around! You guys are too cute!! The fabric is blue aquatic with a seahorse on it! Love it! Thank you Jade and Cole, we can't wait for you to horse around with Gracie either! We love you!

Quilt square #71 and #72 are from our nephew and niece. Bryson's wish is, "Gracie, Welcome to our family! I can't wait to play! Looking forward to many special memories." It is a cute blue aqua fabric with a starfish and fish. Very sweet! Jordan's wish is, "Dear Cousin Gracie, I am so happy you are joining our family. I can't wait to have many giggles and adventures with you." It is a pink fabric with beautiful tropical flowers. Thank you so very much Bryson and Jordan for your sweet wishes for your new cousin. We love you and miss you!

#69 and #70


Quilt square #69 and #70 are from our niece and nephew. Jadeybug's wish is, "Gracie, I am so excited you will be a part of our family. It will be great to have another little "jadeybug" in the family! Hope these ladybugs bring you as much good luck as they have to me!" The fabric is a cute yellow with pink flowers and ladybugs on it. Too cute! Cole's wish is titled, "Smith Family Zoo, Which animal are you? I can't wait to meet you! Can you teach me Chinese? My friend Lena is also from China!" So sweet! The fabric is blue with animals on it. Thank you so much Jade and Cole, we love you and miss you both very much!

Quilt square #67 is also from Grandpa and Grandma. The wish says, "To Gracie Mae, Our "beary" special granddaughter." It is a Noah's Ark fabric. Thank you Grandpa and Grandma!

Quilt square #65 is from Grandma. Her wish says, "Wish I may, Wish I might, Teach you how to fly a kite!" The fabric is a cute kite fabric! Love it! #66 is from Alley Cat (Grandpa and Grandma's kitty cat). It says, "You are a perfect (purrrrrfect) fit in your forever family." It is the cute fabric with kitties on it! Thank you so much Grandma! We love you!

Quilt square #64 is from Grandma and Grandpa. Their wish says, "Our pretty little Gracie Mae, Health and happiness for you we pray. Your forever family and you today, we wish love in a very special way." The fabric is a green polk a dot with white flowers and pink ladybugs. Very cute! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa, we love you very much!

Quilt square #61 and #62 are from our cousins. #61 is from Rebecca and Steve. Their wish says, "The promise of your Guardian Angel Kitty - God will give his Angels charge of you, to guard and love you, in all you become and do." The fabric is yellow, with cute little kitty angels. Very sweet. #62 is from Meredith and Joe. Their wish says, "Welcome Sweetheart Gracie Mae." The fabric has red hearts on it. Very cute. Quilt squares #56, #57 and #58 come from Aunt Delores, Uncle Jim and our cousin Jamie. Their wish says, "Gracie Mae, This piece of fabric has a special meaning to our family. Our Granny Coleman quilted a Christmas tree skirt for our daughter Jamie's first Christmas. We wish you always the best life offers. May your heart always be filled with the Spirit of the Christmas Season." Thank you so much. This means a lot because we have a piece of Jamie's first Christmas and hope to celebrate Gracie Mae's first Christmas with our family this year. We miss you and love you!

Quilt square #51, #52, and #53 is from my Aunt Amy, her husband Craig and their beautiful new bundle of Joy Katie. The wish states, "Our wish for you is to be truly happy, content and grateful for all you have! You are a blessed girl! We love you." The fabric is three squares from Katie's receiving blanket they used to swaddle her in the hospital after she was born. Thank you Amy, I will use all three squares as each one of them represents your love for Gracie Mae! I love you and miss you!

Quilt square #50 is from my girlfriend Tammy's ten year old daughter Emily. The wish says, "My wish for you is that you just have a great time with your new family." It is the sweetest wish with dragonflies all over it! Near the bottom Em drew little people and labeled them Cooper, Zachary and You. Too cute! The fabric is pink with dragonflies and glitter. Thanks Em, love you!

Quilt square #49 is from some great friends in San Antonio. The Thomas' wish is, "Our wish for you... Is to grow up in a loving family... Surrounded by many friends! Always remember you can be anything you dream of in life... As long as you never give up on those dreams!" The fabric is actually a quilt in itself from an over achiever! It is beautiful in pink and purple florals! Thank you Tammy, I miss you and love you!

Quilt square #48 comes from a dear friend who is currently living in Germany. Linda's wish is, "I wish for you health, happiness, wealth, wisdom, your one true love, and of course 100 more wishes." The fabric is one with a Texas flare, love it! Texas' flag and the beloved Texas State flower, the blue bonnet. I love spring in Texas and the fields of blue bonnets! Thank you Linda!!
